Why River Bend Kilts?

All River Bend kilts and pleated skirts are hand sewn by Pamela Wright, a Master Kiltmaker living in Utah.

River Bend only purchase tartan woven in Scotland. Beware of online sites which feature tartan from other countries - they just don't have the quality of the Scottish weave.

You speak directly with you Kiltmaker. You'll get to know Pamela while your kilt is being made. If you're not fully satisfied you deal directly with the artisan that made it.

River Bend kilts are hand sewn - the stitches are perfect.

River Bend kilts do not "kick" where the apron pleat stands out because of either poor measurement or shrinking of fabric.

Each kilt features hidden horizontal back stitching - a sign your kilt will last a lifetime.
