measure How to Measure for a Kilt

The following measurements are needed to create your kilt:

A. WAIST: Snug (this will be the measurement of the kilt at the tightest, it can then be let out a further 3 1/2 inches on the buckles). The tape should be taken around the waist, across the navel and measured at the side of the body.

B. HIPS: Firm (not tight) measurement over trousers at widest point (empty pockets).

C. LENGTH: Taken from top of hip bone to top of knee cap when standing.

D. HEIGHT: Your standing height.
